Are you addicted to soda? Dr. Pepper, Pepsi or Sprite? Do you just have to have it?
Consuming too many sugary drinks, especially sodas is a sure way to set you back if you’re trying to lose weight and get healthier.
One serving of soda is equal to 12 ozs. The average cola contains about 38 grams of sugar and lemon-lime sodas (Sprite) contains about 37 grams. Now times that by the number of sodas you drink a day… that’s anywhere from 37 to 148 grams of sugar or more depending on how many you drink.
One of the easiest ways to start seeing weight loss results is the cut back on the sugar. I’m not saying go cold turkey and flip the switch overnight, but what I am saying is that if you gradually start drinking less soda each week, I promise you over time you’ll start to see significant and positive results..
